Chamber music concert at Timberneck kicks off Fairfield fall activities

The Fairfield Foundation will host a variety of activities this fall to involve the community in archaeology and historic preservation at its five historic properties in Gloucester.

A chamber music concert at Timberneck in Machicomoco State Park (3601 Timberneck Farm Road, Hayes) kicks off the fall calendar. On Friday, Aug. 25, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., a chamber ensemble from the Courthouse Community Orchestra will play classical music familiar to the 19th-century Catlett family.

Tours of the house, currently undergoing restoration, will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Seating is limited. Tickets are $15 for 2023 annual members or $25 for non-members. The non-member price includes annual membership. Confirm your membership status by emailing membership@fairfieldfoundation.org.
