The Veterans Day ceremony in Gloucester this year was dedicated to John Northstein and Woodrow Keating Jr. (not pictured), both of whom are Korean War-era veterans. David Clements, Commandant of Detachment 1317 Marine Corps League, presented Northstein a certificate of dedication for his service. Senior Vice Commandant Michael Gilberti presented bouquets of flowers to the Northstein ladies in John’s life who were present: Johanna, Martha, Morgan and Linda. Northstein also is a longtime member of the Gloucester Ruritan Club, having 55 years of perfect attendance. Shown from left are Eldridge Northstein, John Northstein, Clements and Gilberti.
