CEO Steve Sadler talks values, community involvement

CEO Steve Sadler loves the passage, “The Man in the Arena,” from Theodore Roosevelt’s 1910 “Citizenship In A Republic” speech. The message from the passage is simple; those who actually step up to the plate, for better or worse, are the ones who will make a difference in comparison to those who idly stand by and criticize the work of others.

“There will always, always be critics,” he said, but he has never let the possibility of them deter him from all his ventures.

As a businessman, the Gloucester resident has an impressive resume. Presently, he is the head of Allegiancy, a commercial real estate asset management firm based in Richmond, and is credited as being the driving force behind the formation and strategic direction of the company. He has nearly 20 years of experience in investment banking and financial services under his belt and has executed public market securities and private placement transactions valued at more than $1 billion.
