Christchurch School will host the Jason Soucek Memorial Soccer Game on Sept. 4 and 5 in memory of CCS graduate and Middlesex County resident Jason “Juice” Soucek, a 1992 graduate. Soucek is the son of Archie (Class of 1961) and Claudia Soucek of Middlesex. Soucek died in 1996 while a student at Roanoke College. At CCS, Jason Soucek was a standout in soccer, basketball and lacrosse, earning Best All-Around Athlete honors in 1992. The action starts on Friday, Sept. 4 at 4 p.m. with St. Mary’s Ryken (Leonardtown, Maryland) vs. St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School (Alexandria). The loser of that game will play Christchurch on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. The winner will play CCS at 3 p.m. CCS head coach David Burrell leads the team.
