Summer weather has arrived in Gloucester which means the fishermen are hitting the waters. Above, Gloucester Point Pier saw a number of people looking to snag the catch of the day. Unfortunately, Elysiah Lee Jordan’s catch earlier in the afternoon was a ray that was thrown back. Like many of the others on the pier, Jordan reported that not many fish were biting. Below, James Gatens, at right, and father Pat enjoyed a pleasant afternoon fishing the waters of Beaverdam Park.
