Nina Carter of Gloucester won the grand prize in the Gazette-Journal’s Steeple Chase contest.
The four-week promotion asked readers to match photos of steeples with church names. All correct answers went into the pot for the grand prize. Weekly prizes of a year’s subscription were also awarded, and the winners were Patty Chase, Bill Lawrence twice, and Metilla Haskins.
The grand prize was a basket full of gifts donated by local businesses.
