The Carter Minor Blues Band will perform at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, at Flat Iron Crossroads, 7709 Flat Iron Road, Gloucester. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with an on-site food truck and wine, beer, and soft drinks at the FIX Bar. Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Tickets are $20 when purchased in advance at flatironcrossroads.com, or $25 at the door. Children 12 and under are free of charge. Carter Minor Blues Band is a collaboration of five musicians with over a century and a half of experience playing Blues and other African American music. Coming from North Carolina, the band is led by the legendary lead vocalist and harmonica player Carter Minor, who has delighted audiences across the Southeast and much of the rest of the U.S. for over 50 years, playing Blues, R&B, Soul, Gospel, and Rock.
