A funeral service for Carris Ann Olivis Harris of Gloucester, was held Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018 at 1 p.m. in Shepherdsville Baptist Church, Gloucester. She died Nov. 1, 2018.

She was a member of Shepherdsville Baptist Church where she was the financial secretary and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary. She was a 1959 graduate of T.C. Walker School and a retiree of the Gloucester County Public School System.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Julian H. Harris Sr.; children, Irene Rene Morgan, Burnett B. Summers Jr., Lisa Denise Summers and Julian H. Harris Jr.; siblings, Alonzo Olivis, Clara Evans, Mary Hopson and Christine Taylor, and three grandchildren.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Arrangements were by Howard Funeral Home, Ark.
