Two local entrepreneurs have landed a cable slot for a new TV show. Juan Carrillo, owner of Juan’s Mexican Café and Cantina, and D’Shawn Wright, owner of Body By D gym and The Wright Cuts Family Barber Shop, will host a late-night talk show titled “In The Ring” on SKY4 at 11:30 p.m. Sundays, beginning April 7.

“In The Ring” will take place inside the boxing ring of one of Wright’s gyms and will center around the duo interviewing their guests as well as featuring segments on food, fashion, fitness and other lifestyle topics.

With his background in the restaurant business, Carrillo will handle features pertaining to food and drink as well as a fashion segment. Wright will draw on his bodybuilding experience for a fitness segment and his time with a radio show, acting, and motivational speaking to build an inspirational component into his portion of the program.
