Carpenters fall from a scaffold

While at work on the porch in front of Sears & Williams store on Monday morning last the scaffolding on which were Mr. James Shinault and Mr. T.F. Walden broke and both were precipitated to the ground, a distance of twelve feet. Mr. Shinault escaped with a few slight bruises, but Mr. Walden was not so fortunate having an arm broken by the fall. He had the injured member attended to by Drs. White and Vaden, after which he was taken to his home.
