CAROLYN SANTIFUL

On Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, God saw fit to call home Na-Na, Carolyn Santiful of Hampton.

Carolyn was a faithful member of Gray’s Missionary Baptist Church, where she was an active member of the missionary ministry and one of the first Sunday school teachers.

Carolyn also known as “Na-Na” to so many was the one person guaranteed to show unconditional love and faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Addie Morris, and her brother, Alvin Morris.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her siblings, Janet Davenport, Lorraine Eason (Kenneth), and Karl Morris (Shirley); her children, Leslie Washington (Nicholas), Kenneth Santiful (Leslie), Loctina Santiful, and Tameka Wiggins (William). Na-Na also left to carry on her legacy The Carolyn Crew (CC4Life), her precious grandchildren, Toya, Antinija, Tevin, Richard, Maya, Destyné, Takesha, Kenya, Tamara, Nicholas, Tory, Roy, Tasjae, Teah and Zion; one great-grandchild, Malaiyah.

Viewing will begin at noon followed by a wake service from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at Cooke Bros. Funeral Chapel, Newport News. A homegoing celebration will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, at Gray’s Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Mathews, Va., in the afternoon.
