Caroling along Main Street

Third graders from Botetourt Elementary School walked up and down Gloucester’s Main Street on Friday morning to spread some holiday cheer, singing Christmas carols for the merchants and customers. Here, the group stops in front of The Silver Box to perform a rendition of “Frosty the Snowman.” One of the teachers accompanying the students gave them a last-minute bit of advice: “Remember, boys and girls, we’re singing—not yelling. There is a difference.” Photo by Charlie Koenig
