Caroling along Main Street

Third grade students from Botetourt Elementary School walked up and down Gloucester’s Main Street on Friday morning singing Christmas carols in front of local businesses. According to teacher Gaye Murphy, pictured in back, this is the third year students from Botetourt have caroled in the area. She said that throughout December, the classes talk about doing random acts of kindness, and this is one that the entire grade level performs. Students also visited Heron Cove at Sanders and sang for some of the residents who were getting ready for lunch.
