Carl Aschman, 89, of Mathews died Monday, Jan. 8, 2024.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Christ Church, 320 Williams Wharf Road, Mathews, with a reception to follow at Kingston Parish House, Mathews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heritage Humane Society, 430 Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg, Va. 23185, to Kingston Parish Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 481, Mathews, Va. 23109, or to the charity of your choice.

A private service of committal will be held at Hickory Neck Episcopal Church, Toano, on Jan. 21.
