Carl Alexander Faris, 35, of Richmond, Virginia, passed away on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his adoptive father, Keven Lee Smith; grandmothers, Judith German and Gloria Smith, and niece, Aaliyah.

He is survived by his wife, Leslie Faris; daughters, Haley Nicole Faris and Frankie Ann Faris; his mother, Teresa Smith; his father, Carl A. Faris; sister, Katie Brooks, and brothers, John Lee Faris and Matthew Tyler Smith, and a large extended family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017, at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
