Car club renews event schedule

In compliance with the easing of COVID-19 guidelines recently announced by Gov. Ralph Northam, the Northern Neck Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America will begin reinstating some events.

The club will start its cruise-ins at Stan’s Dairy Freeze and Skateland, 17456 Kings Highway, Montross, beginning Friday, June 19, from 5-8 p.m. and continuing every through Friday through September.

The cruise-in features music by The Hard to Tell Band. All participants are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Northern Neck Food Pantry. The cruise-ins at Roma Ristorante, 1250 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock, will begin on Sunday, June 28, from 4-6 p.m. and continue every fourth Sunday through the end of the year.

The cruise-in also coincides with the monthly club meeting and all are welcome to attend. The club will be reviewing the remainder of its events schedule to determine which ones we can re-start and will add additional events later in anticipation of...
