Cantori Choral Ensemble to celebrate anniversary with two concerts

The Cantori Choral Ensemble is celebrating its 20th anniversary this spring with two special concerts. Celebrating this milestone, the music for both concerts includes some of the group’s favorite pieces from past spring recitals. On Sunday at 4 p.m., the ensemble will perform at Historic Christ Church in Weems. In keeping with the manner in which choral music would have been performed when King Carter built the church, all the music sung that day will be a cappella. The audience will enjoy such music as Shenandoah, Danny Boy, Steal Away, Beautiful Savior, and an arrangement of Amazing Grace. Historic Christ Church is selling tickets for the concert, which may be obtained online at its website (https://christchurch1735.org), or purchased on site before the concert.
