Approximately 35 people attended a "Meet the Candidates Forum" Friday night hosted by the Piankatank Community League at its building in Harcum. After brief opening statements from all the candidates, they were asked questions on issues pertaining to the environment, finances and government operation. Individual questions from the audience were used and the candidates were asked to make final statements as to why they were running for office. The evening ended with refreshments and an opportunity to meet one-on-one with the candidates.
