Candidate visit

Corey Stewart, Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate, spoke during the grand opening of the Gloucester GOP headquarters on Saturday, just south of the Court House. Voters from Gloucester and surrounding localities attended to hear Stewart speak about his position on issues of the day and how they differ from his opponent, Democratic incumbent Tim Kaine. The office will be open Wednesday-Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. through Election Day. The public is encouraged to stop by for information about the candidates, sample ballots and purchase campaign items.
