Candidates on this year’s ballot running for Gloucester County and state offices have been invited to take part in a virtual candidate forum sponsored by the Gloucester Branch NAACP and CircleUp Middle Peninsula.
The forum will be held from 7-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 6 and livestreamed on both the NAACP and CircleUp Facebook pages. Invitations went out to all candidates and, as of Monday, the group has received confirmations from Gloucester school board candidates Elisa Nelson and Anita Parker, supervisor candidates Kevin Smith and Ken Gibson and Democratic candidate for House of Delegates Ella Webster, according to Leonne Arsenovic.
The public is invited to submit questions for the candidates in advance to the following email address: circleupmidpen@gmail.com. Questions must be submitted no later than Friday.
