Mason Callis of Mathews and Vivien Markwith are quarterfinalists in the National Wildlife Federation’s Jr. Ranger online competition, which is currently underway.

The contest is open to children ages 4-12, with one young explorer earning $20,000, an exclusive wildlife experience with Jeff Corwin and will appear in a Ranger Rick Magazine. Voting ends on Thursday, May 21 at 7 p.m.

Competition involves voting; supporters can vote for free once every day or they can donate to the National Wildlife Federation and the dollar amount donated is the number of votes that goes towards Mason’s overall tally.
