CA&J Farm to take part in ‘Largest Drum Circle in the World’ Saturday

CA&J Farm at Bohannon will take part Saturday in a global push for peace and unity, titled “The Largest Drum Circle in the World.”

In addition to taking place on the farm, the event will also be livestreamed on Zoom and Facebook, said owner Jean Howard.

The drum circle will be held live on the farm from 1-4 p.m. and will take place outdoors to keep participants safe, Howard said. The event will also include drummers from all over the world online from 4-8 p.m., accommodating participants in all time zones, she said.

A flyer promoting the global drum circle said it involves “small acts by millions of people” that can transform the world.

The farm will also plant a Peace Pole on Saturday during the event, and recording artist Ashton Green, a Grammy nominee, will perform.

The drum circle will include refreshments, children’s drum making, games, a chance to paint a labyrinth brick, walking the farm’s Labyrinth and Woodland Peace Path, and shopping.
