CA&J Farm, Foster, will be host to a full-day, on-farm chicken-raising workshop on Saturday, organized by Virginia Cooperative Extension and the Virginia State University College of Agriculture.

“Coop Camp–Chicks & Chickens, Care & Harvesting” will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the farm, which is located at 5620 East River Road.

Tour highlights include a farm tour, care basics, and humane harvesting).
