BZA to consider appeal at Tuesday’s meeting

The Gloucester County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the colonial courthouse to consider an appeal.

Melisa Wamsley of Rave Design & Construction of Harcum, has filed the appeal regarding administrative procedures on behalf of property owner Gina V. Knollenberg. The subject property is located at 4528 Hermitage Lane and is in Abingdon District and zoned Single-Family detached residential (SF-1).

Wamsley said she is appealing the denial of a zoning permit for renovation and addition (proposed attached garage) at the Knollenberg property.

A public notice said Anne Ducey-Ortiz, director of planning and zoning, has determined that the existing carport on the property is a conforming detached accessory structure and does not have nonconforming status as attached to the principal structure for purposes of use or setbacks.
