The 2021 Chesapeake Bay Buyboat Reunion comes to Mathews, beginning Friday.

The event will be held at Hudgins Horn Harbor Marina in Port Haywood from 2 to 6 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

About a dozen buyboats—vessels that once circulated among the fishing grounds of the bay to purchase oysters, crabs and fish from independent watermen—will be docked at the marina. The event will also include live music and food available for purchase.

Because of limited parking, Hudgins Horn Harbor Marina will shuttle guests from the parking lot located at 3662 New Point Comfort Highway in Port Haywood. Shuttles will run throughout the event.
