Butterfly count

Middle Peninsula Master Naturalists participated in the Williamsburg Butterfly Count on Aug. 13. They counted a total of 212 butterflies and identified 29 different species in the Gloucester sector of the enumeration which extended from Clay Bank to the Poropotank River west of Route 614.
