Burwell Maurice Elston, 77, of Gloucester, died Nov. 1, 2015.

He was born Feb. 12, 1938 in North Carolina to Elmer Everette and Annie Belle Elston. He grew up in Poquoson.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Elston; sons, Elmer Elston, Darrell Elston and Rodney Elston; stepdaughter, Tina Steinhaus; 10 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be private.
