The job, she said, requires flexibility, dedication, knowledge, self-motivation and a desire to help others. “Building a network of other like-minded professionals is essential to this industry, such as lenders, title companies, contractors, and inspectors. Guiding people through a transaction can be both challenging and rewarding, and I truly love helping people reach their dream.”

A Virginia native, McComas said “education is more than what you get in the classroom.” She is the product of a military family and saw many new places and met many new people growing up. She is now in her 32nd year of a job she loves. “A real estate professional is on call 24/7,” She said. “I would be remiss if I didn’t mention my wonderfully supportive family, who understand this is more than a job, that I’m helping people have a piece of the American dream.”
