The Gloucester County School Board made several appointments during its Oct. 13 meeting.

In contract changes/re-assignments, Achilles Elementary math specialist Jessica Brown was named assistant principal at Achilles, effective Oct. 19.

Appointed as teacher assistants for the current school year were Susana Bruzos Roseme and Polly Harrison of Gloucester Point, effective Oct. 19 and 26, respectively; Stephanie Decker-Lance and Tavy VanNess of Gloucester, effective Oct. 19 and Oct. 12, respectively; and Fredrea Brown of West Point, effective Oct. 19.

Appointed to support services positions were Sean Daly of Gloucester, effective Oct. 12, and Cristin Hewitt of Hayes, effective Oct. 26.

Resignations were accepted from Gloucester High School junior varsity girls’ soccer coaches Haley Hamilton and Brooklynn Splitt, effective Oct. 12. In addition, retirement was approved for support services employee Lois Belvin, effective Nov. 1.
