Brian F. Hanlon, 77, of York County, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022.

Mr. Hanlon was a native of Boston, Massachusetts, and a former resident of Gulfport, Florida, and Dahlonega, Georgia, before settling in York County in 2017. He retired from the Georgia Tech Research Institute’s Facilities Management Department.

He was the son of the late James P. Hanlon and Catherine Gibbons, and was preceded in death by his first wife, Ursula Harrington Hanlon, of 43 years; a son, James F. Hanlon, and brother, James Hanlon.

Survivors include his wife, Sarah; son, Brian of Williamsburg; son, Gregory Taccoa of Georgia; daughter, Melissa Trigg of Murrayville, Georgia; sisters, Catherine and Geraldine of St. Petersburg, Florida; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

At his request, there will be no service.
