Brian Cerny of Gloucester has received five release citations recently for speckled trout, according to the Dec. 17 issue of vasaltwaterjournal.com. His qualifying fish measured 27.25 inches, 25.5 inches, and 24.25 inches, caught Dec. 6 in Chesapeake Bay; Cerny also had a good fishing day Dec. 3 in the bay, catching and releasing a 26.25-inch fish and a 24.75-incher. Also, speckled trout citations went to William Scharamm of Gloucester, 5 pound, 12 ouncer, caught Dec. 4 in Chesapeake Bay; to William Flippin of Bena, 6-pound, 11-ounce fish caught Nov. 19 in Rappahannock River. In addition, Luis Castro of Cobbs Creek has received a citation for a 47.75-inch rockfish, caught and released Dec. 7 while trolling at Buoy 39 in the Cut Channel of Chesapeake Bay....
