Brewing oyster stout

Members of the Tidewater Oyster Gardeners Association (TOGA) and the Colonial Ale Smiths and Keggers (CASK) got together Sunday at the Hayes home of Jay and Joe Crandell to brew oyster stout. The TOGA members provided bivalves from their oyster gardens and the CASK members provided beer ingredients and brewed oyster stout. The beer will be ready to serve at the TOGA volunteer appreciation party next month. This has been an annual event for members of CASK and TOGA since 2016.
