Gloucester native and jazz musician Peter Brewer will be playing at Gloucester Brewing Company on Main Street at 7 p.m. Saturday. Brewer, who graduated from Gloucester High School in 1985, will be joined by Richmond musicians Matt Hall on upright bass, Alan Parker on guitar and Billy Williams Jr. on drums. Hall is a 1994 graduate of GHS. Brewer holds a doctor of musical arts degree from the University of Miami and is an assistant professor of music at Barry University in the Department of Fine Arts. Brewer resides in Miami, Florida where he has performed with KC & The Sunshine Band, Paul Anka, Diane Schuur, The Temptations, The O’Jays, Barry Manilow, Tito Puente and Willie Chirino.  ...
