Brewed Awakenings, a new business at Tidemill Center, Gloucester Point, promotes itself as "the drive-thru coffee place."

The small building near the main entrance to the strip center is open for business from early morning until early afternoon weekdays, closes at noon Saturday, and is closed Sundays.

As the name suggests, coffee is king. An assortment of roasted coffees is available, owner Jean Casanave said, with all coffee roasted fresh by Mobjack Bay Coffee Roasters at Hayes.

Customers can get regular coffee, flavored coffee and coffee drinks like lattes, cappuccino and espresso. Casanave even sells Manhattan Special espresso coffee soda, a bottled drink that’s not often seen in this region.

Also, Brewed Awakenings has the soda lovers covered with an assortment of regular and diet beverages, vegetable juice and energy drinks. Tea drinkers can enjoy green, black and regular varieties.
