Brenda Jenkins, 55, of Hayes, entered eternal rest on April 14, 2021. Born in Gloucester, Brenda was employed at Hardee’s for over 35 years where she formed lasting friendships with many customers and coworkers over the years. Brenda was a true example of someone that never met a stranger. Her passion in life was to love and take care of her family, which she did endlessly. She was predeceased by her father, Karl Hall. Survived and left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Jerry Jenkins Jr.; mother, Mary Hall; father-in-law, Jerry Jenkins Sr.; brother, Carol Hall; sisters, Mary Kellum, Deborah Deal, Lois Gardner, and Barbara Kellum; her niece and nephews, and her dearly loved great-nephew, Easton Deal, as well as a host of other family and friends.

A graveside service was held at Bethany United Methodist Church on April 17 at 11 a.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Richmond Autism Integration Network.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Riverside Walter Reed Cancer Center and hospice for their care and compassion.
