Brenda Ann Heywood Romero, 67, of Gloucester Point, died peacefully at her home May 16, 2018 with family at her side. Brenda was born April 8, 1951, one of four children, to Robert Sr. and Virginia Heywood. Brenda loved Persian cats, going shopping and she always dressed to perfection. She had a deep love and commitment to her family. Brenda enjoyed her job at Whitley’s Peanuts and attended many seafood festivals. She will be dearly missed by her family.

Her parents, a daughter, Lisa Williams, and brother, Robert Heywood Jr., preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Romero; children, Ericka Romero and Billy Williams; grandchildren, Taylor Dawn Williams and Chance Wayne Williams; brother, Mitchell Heywood, and sister, Paula James.

A service to celebrate her life, conducted by the Rev. Arthur Wolz Jr., was at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. The family received friends Friday, May 18 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
