Bread for Life donation

Knights of Columbus Council 9428 presented a $500 check to Tracey Reeds, Executive Director of the Bread for Life Food Pantry, at the Council’s social meeting on Sept. 17. Council Deputy Grand Knight Mike Weathers, at left, and Spiritual advisor Sandy Mattson, right, presented the check to Reeds. Located on Route 14 near Gloucester Court House, The Bread for Life Community Food Pantry serves on average 250 families per week. It is open for distribution on Mondays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 1 to 4:30 p.m. The pantry is associated with the Hampton Food Bank and works with other food pantries in the Gloucester area. It is supported by cash donations from citizens, Food Lion grocery stores, and corporate organizations. More information can be found at www.breadforlifefoodpantry.com....
