Brad Parks to have virtual launch of new book

The Friends of Essex Public Library will celebrate a book launch virtually via Zoom with bestselling author Brad Parks at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept.1.

Parks is marking the publication of his latest thriller, “Interference,” about a woman who is attempting to find her missing husband by harnessing the power of quantum physics.

At 46, Parks is the only author to have won the Shamus, Nero and Lefty Awards. His novels have been translated into 15 languages and won critical acclaim across the globe.

The event is free and open to the public. Those wishing to attend must preregister at https://bit.ly/2PSfero in order to receive an invitation. The registration link and more information is available at EPLVA.org.

Attendees are encouraged to buy the book online or through their favorite bookseller. Parks will leave bookplates at the Essex Public Library in Tappahannock for those who wish to have a copy signed.
