Boys tie, girls win in GHS soccer finale

Monday’s game marked the last home game for Gloucester’s senior soccer players. Gloucester High School’s varsity soccer teams closed out the regular season against Woodside High School.

The boys had a hard-fought game, finishing with a score of 1-1. Gloucester’s lone goal was made by Cayden Brumm.

The goal helped secure the team’s place in the Region 5A Tournament as the number-two seed for the Peninsula District. The tournament will kick off Friday with the Dukes set to face off against Hickory High School.
