Mathews High School students have been selected to represent the county this summer at Boys State and Girls State. The boys will attend Radford University and the girls will be at Longwood University. Both sessions are from June 16-22. This will be the 81st year of Virginia Boys and Girls State. The representatives are chosen by their peers and faculty and interviewed by American Legion Post 83.
