Bova publishes second novel in ‘Chestnut Springs’ series

Carol J. Bova of Mathews, has recently published “Breaking the Eighth–A Chestnut Springs Novel” with Random Tangent Press. The second book in the series can be read as a stand-alone book, but draws on the same characters in the original “Chestnut Springs” and adds a few new friends.

Set in a fictional small town in West Virginia, the book follows the events after the discovery of a theft from a church. The town reels at the news after the church board of directors investigates what happened. Brenda Maxwell struggles with how to balance her farm plans with romance with the sheriff while the court proceedings reveal even more shocking information to the community.

“Breaking the Eighth” and “Chestnut Springs” are available at Amazon.com in paperback, e-book and hardcover. A large-print edition is scheduled as well, and Bova is currently working on a third Chestnut Springs novel.
