Booze Fighters give to Samaritans

This summer, members of Chapter 35 of The Booze Fighters Motorcycle Club held a Poker Run Fundraiser to benefit the Samaritan Group of Gloucester. On Nov. 11 at the Patriots Grill, the group presented a $3,000 check to Lester Sterling of the charitable organization. The donation will be used to assist needy families in the county. Club members Bill Patterson, Mike Kolenc and Jimmy Hill are shown here presenting the check to Sterling, from left. This is the 12th year in a row that the Booze Fighters have supported the Samaritan Group with donations now totaling over $35,000.
