The Booze Fighters Motorcycle Club, Chapter 35, held a Poker Run fundraiser in August to benefit the Samaritan Group of Gloucester. On Nov. 30 at Eggheads Diner, members of the club presented a $3,000 check to the Samaritan Group. Taking part in the check presentation were, from left, Booze Fighter members John Flynn, Mike Kolenc and Steve Wyatt, Samaritan Group treasurer Lester Sterling, and club members Bill Patterson, Steve Jones, Jimmy Geiger and Brendon White. This is the 15th consecutive year that the Booze Fighters have sponsored this event for the Samaritan Group with donations totaling over $43,000.
