York River Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons will have a Book Author Luncheon at noon on Friday, Oct. 21, at Providence Baptist Church, 3501 Providence Road, Hayes.
The guest speaker will be Connie Lapallo, who has published “The Bones of our Past: Jamestown and the Making of America” and three other historical novels.
Tickets are $30, with proceeds going to the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk and several groups in Gloucester.
Tickets may be purchased at The Silver Box on Main Street in Gloucester.
