Bobbie M. Jenkins, 87, of Gloucester, died Nov. 8, 2018, at Riverside Walter Reed Convalescent Center. 

Bobbie was born in Bryson City, North Carolina, and was a retired nurse’s aide from Eastern State Hospital. She was a longtime resident of Gloucester County.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Parcie Mchan; her three sons, Ricky Jenkins, Chuckie Jenkins and Brian Jenkins, and sisters and brothers.

Bobbie is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles I. Jenkins; six children, Allen Jenkins, Marcia Schomburg, Barbara Robins, Patty Zereski, Joseph Jenkins and Mark Jenkins; sisters, Linda Husky, Betty Clontz, Kay Moore and Ann Hedgepeth; 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service conducted by the Rev. Arthur Wolz was at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment followed in Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery.
