Board tour

Gloucester supervisors Dr. Robert “JJ” Orth, Christopher Hutson, Ashley Chriscoe, Ken Gibson and Michael Hedrick, from left, spent Friday touring county facilities and parks. The visits correlated with Capital Improvement Plan projects that have been either approved or requested at those locations. The trip saw the board make stops at the new transportation facility, Gloucester Point Beach, the Water Treatment Plant and others. Above, the board members stand on the floating dock at Beaverdam Park. The replacement of the floating dock is currently on the CIP, with funds requested for fiscal year 2024 of $150,000.
