Board says farewell to three supervisors

Tuesday night served as a sendoff to three members of the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors during the board’s final meeting of the year in the colonial courthouse.

 

All the board members, both those departing as well as those staying on in 2014, agreed that the present board has shown the utmost respect for one another and for staff, while keeping the best interests of the county in focus.

 

York district resident Carter Borden, who has been on the board for one four-year term, thanked Gloucester residents for allowing him to serve, adding that while “some things you do are not pleasant experiences, this was a pleasant experience for me.”

 

Borden said he loves the people of the county and the people of his district. “I even love the people who disagree with me on issues sometimes,” he said. “They are all my friends.”
