Tickets are on sale now at www.villageevents.org for the May 7 Blues, Brews & BBQ Festival at the Yorktown waterfront.

From noon to 6 p.m., attendees can sample dozens of craft beers, enjoy BBQ (available for purchase) and listen as some of the best blues musicians in Hampton Roads play on the stage at Riverwalk Landing.

The music starts with the School of Rock at noon. J.D. Silvia Blues Band at 12:45 p.m., the Jason Cale Band at 2:30 p.m., and the Bobby BlackHat Band at 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 through Friday. After that date, and at the door, the price is $40. A limited number of non-drinking tickets are available for $15.
