Blue ribbon winner

 Wanting to find new recipes, Alyson Ridge went to her computer and began searching. “It was when I was first married and wanted to find something different from the daily routine of foods.” Not only did she find new recipes, she also found a site where people were sharing recipes, “Just a Pinch.” She recently won a blue ribbon for her own recipe, Greekzza.

In the meantime at her home in Gloucester, Alyson was experimenting with some of her own ideas. “You know how you look in your refrigerator and there is something that should be used before it’s no good? Well, one day I had more spinach than I needed so I took it out and made a spinach spread. First tried it with crackers but the next time I made it as a pie dish and warmed it. The family liked it better warmed. So I began thinking about making it into a pizza. That’s how Greekzza came about and because my family liked it is why I posted on the internet...”
