There’s been a change in the air recently at Blown Away Hair Salon, located at Hayes Plaza Shopping Center, Hayes.

Michelle Green, who owns the shop with Mindy Hunley, said they recently welcomed two new partners at the shop: stylists Tina Weigartz and Song Yi. Receptionist Brittany Banks of Hayes, is now part of the team as the receptionist.

In addition, the shop has recently undergone many changes, including the arrival of new salon chairs and other equipment and new flooring. Several new services have been added, Green said, including the Malibu skin cleansing treatment, Moroccan oil deep conditioning, and Privana keratin, a protein treatment.
Blown Away opened for business last August, and business has been good with a mix of men, women and children customers, Green said. The staff offers haircuts, creative coloring, permanent waves, relaxers and facial waxing.
